  I went into this salon desperate after my hairdresser had to cancel after testing positive, I asked the young girl for a shoulder length cut so my hair was sitting on top of my shoulders, I left with my hair cut to my jaw line. By the time she had me facing the mirror so I could even see how short it had been cut it was to late. I should have said something but it’s not in my nature to, so I paid and left and cried my way to my best friends hairdresser. She looked at it and said it looks like whoever cut it hasn’t even been trained and just winged it. Next time I’ll just wait until I can get into a reputable hairdresser, these cheap/quick cuts are never worth it.

  Monica is one of those hairdressers who not only knows how to cut a customer’s hair, but also understands their head shape and what looks good on them. So impressed with her cutting my hair. I came in last week but was left unhappy with the cut I got (as with many other hairstylists at Hairway) but I went back a the next day and she fixed it up exactly how I wanted it. Thank you!

  Had my worst haircut ever from here. I asked for trimming and front lair. The lady kept telling me how heavy n thick my hair is, which it is and it's tiring to manage heavy hair. She asked me if i would want to thin it i said yes because that's what i have been doing always to keep my head lighter. She told me she's going to charge $40 with thinner otherwise $33. I agreed and went along with it. I didn't like the way she was cutting my hair it wasn't common the way she was doing it. For most of the time she used thinner on mt hair. The front looked ok. After the cut with blowdry n everything it looked so ugly. The front still had hair but she's left no hair at the back and the worst thing is there's no shape or styling. She's meant to do lair on me u wouldn't find any layers. It shows like she's trimmed off hair off of me wherever she could. I am so disappointed to not have any styling done n no shape even though i paid $40. As you can see in the picture there's no shape no styling nothing. She's basically picked my hair from wherever she could. This photo is right after i came from the salon with blowdry.

  Ive given up trying to get a decent haircut at Fountain gate!! Today I don't even think the lady who cut my hair was a trained hairdresser. She was just chopping bits all over the place. I asked for an inch off the bottom so I could still tie it back and she easily cut off 3 inches in some places. It's not layered as requested and not cut evenly in the slightest.

  I had the absolute worst experience I’ve had at a hair salon at this place. A lady named Monica gave me my hair cut and she did not listen to anything I said.She had never done curtain bangs before and when I kept telling her how to style it, which I should not have to do because she should already know how to style it, she did not listen to me and did it the way she wanted to. In the end I kept asking her to brush it back however she put water on it and left it rather than even just drying it. It looks very messy and wet from the water. I’ve been here before and have had pleasant experiences however this time it was very disappointing and I will not be going back. Please hire better staff.

  Had a lovely experience at the salon. Had my hair done by Roshelle and was extremely happy. Very friendly and lovely to talk to. I had lots of compliments on my hair. Thank you Roshelle.
